automations
See automations. See each automation, read only: on or off, its version, how many people are at each step, done, stopped or failed (and why). switches: the owner's three safety stops in plain words (automations, website, sales), each on as normal or switched off by the owner and since when; only the owner switches them, in the office (Settings or the phone panel), never you. routines_off: the routines the owner switched off one by one (no task is made for them until they switch each back on in the office's Routines; never you). While sales are paused, join_link makes no new link, and shared_links says that payment links already shared still work (the owner pauses those in Stripe if needed). paused_since: the owner paused all automations: nothing automatic starts or goes until they switch it back on. Receipts, class reminders, the waiting list, sign-up welcomes and anything already approved keep going. Emails already on their way may still arrive. Skill: build-an-automation.
Where it is
In the automations area (what each automation is doing, and starting a person by hand): open it with tools_for { area: "automations" }, then call it with read_tool { name: "automations", args }.
Does it need a yes?
Reads only: it changes nothing. Here: the automations and the switches.
Inputs
| Input | Type | Needed | About |
|---|---|---|---|
run_id | string | no | The run_id from start. Pass it on every call: it keeps your task held. · 1 to 100 characters |
Example
{
"name": "automations",
"arguments": {}
}When it is refused
invalid: The input isn't right. The sentence names the field and the fix; nothing was done. Fix it and call again.not_found: No such thing in this company (a task, file, person, record). Check the number or name, or list first.not_allowed: Not without another step: the owner's yes, your own task held with pick_up, or a setting the owner turns on. The sentence says which.taken: Someone else holds it (another AI on that task). Pick another task.stale: It changed since you read it. Read it again and use the new version.failed: On our side or a service's, never your input. Try again in a minute; if it keeps failing, call report_problem.
