open_part

Open a part of her office. Open a part of her office (or hide one, or switch her view: step or all) only when she asks for it in this chat: her asking is her yes. Pass her own words exactly (her_words). Never open a part she didn't ask for: to suggest one, say it in one line and let her ask. If it answers that it's not her next step, tell her that one line, and call again with still_wants only if she still wants it. Then walk her through the first step it gives.

Where it is

In the office area (search, the AI call log, her settings, and opening parts of her office): open it with tools_for { area: "office" }, then call it with use_tool { name: "open_part", args }.

Does it need a yes?

Depends on what it changes: the everyday part runs at once, anything that reaches people or core files waits for the owner's yes. Here: shows or hides a part of her office, or changes her view, only with her own words from this chat (her asking is her yes; the owner said so, 31 Oct); never a helper; nothing goes out, nothing is charged, every change is in History.

When it is refused

  • invalid: The input isn't right. The sentence names the field and the fix; nothing was done. Fix it and call again.
  • not_found: No such thing in this company (a task, file, person, record). Check the number or name, or list first.
  • not_allowed: Not without another step: the owner's yes, your own task held with pick_up, or a setting the owner turns on. The sentence says which.
  • taken: Someone else holds it (another AI on that task). Pick another task.
  • stale: It changed since you read it. Read it again and use the new version.
  • failed: On our side or a service's, never your input. Try again in a minute; if it keeps failing, call report_problem.
