remember

Remember something about the owner. Keep, change or forget one short note in the owner's memory (memory/, one fact per note; start's memory field shows the index). Your judgement after a meaningful exchange: how they like to work, who they are, a goal, a decision or win, what they said no to; update a note rather than add a second. Only when they switched memory on, and never for a helper. Kept at once only in the owner's own office chat; from any other AI, after words from outside the company (about: outside), about other people (about: others) or money, it waits for their yes. Never keys, card or bank numbers, health or other private details, or anyone's contact details. Tell the owner in one short line what you'll remember.

Where it is

In the office area (search, the AI call log, her settings, and opening parts of her office): open it with tools_for { area: "office" }, then call it with use_tool { name: "remember", args }.

Does it need a yes?

Depends on what it changes: the everyday part runs at once, anything that reaches people or core files waits for the owner's yes. Here: a note about the owner is kept at once (she sees it and can undo); about other people or money it is a file_change yes; refused while memory is off or not chosen, and for keys, card, bank, ID, health or contact details.

When it is refused

  • invalid: The input isn't right. The sentence names the field and the fix; nothing was done. Fix it and call again.
  • not_found: No such thing in this company (a task, file, person, record). Check the number or name, or list first.
  • not_allowed: Not without another step: the owner's yes, your own task held with pick_up, or a setting the owner turns on. The sentence says which.
  • taken: Someone else holds it (another AI on that task). Pick another task.
  • stale: It changed since you read it. Read it again and use the new version.
  • failed: On our side or a service's, never your input. Try again in a minute; if it keeps failing, call report_problem.
