settings

See the owner's settings. The owner's settings as they stand, read only, each with the owner's link: task pickup (whether you take tasks by yourself on a schedule, which departments, how many a run and a day), newsletter sign-ups (double opt-in, on unless the owner switched to single), and what waits after a restore from a backup (sends held until the owner checks and releases them). switches: the owner's own switches as they stand (site_offline, sales_paused, newsletter_double_opt_in, from_aatam_invitations, coaching_quiet), each on and since when; one that can't be read is left out. helpers: her helpers here (person id and name), for new_task's helper. owner_only lists what only the owner does, each with why and the link: their switches, export, erase, team, security, connected AI apps, the decision trail, forgetting a person, removing a media piece for good, sharing a note with a course instructor, releasing after a restore, and changing task pickup or opt-in. Never ask a yes card for those: tell the owner plainly what it does, say whether it can be undone, and give the link.

Where it is

In the office area (search, the AI call log, her settings, and opening parts of her office): open it with tools_for { area: "office" }, then call it with read_tool { name: "settings", args }.

Does it need a yes?

Reads only: it changes nothing. Here: the owner's settings and owner-only screens, each with its link; changing them is the owner's own tap.

When it is refused

  • invalid: The input isn't right. The sentence names the field and the fix; nothing was done. Fix it and call again.
  • not_found: No such thing in this company (a task, file, person, record). Check the number or name, or list first.
  • not_allowed: Not without another step: the owner's yes, your own task held with pick_up, or a setting the owner turns on. The sentence says which.
  • taken: Someone else holds it (another AI on that task). Pick another task.
  • stale: It changed since you read it. Read it again and use the new version.
  • failed: On our side or a service's, never your input. Try again in a minute; if it keeps failing, call report_problem.
