Your own domain

Your site starts on a free address, and your emails go from us with your company's name from day one. When you're ready, you can put your site on your own domain, and send your emails from it too.

What it's for

  • Your site on your domain: people reach you at www.yourname.com instead of the free address.
  • Your emails from your domain: emails come from an address at your own name, which looks more like you and helps them land in the inbox.

You need a domain you already own, at any domain company.

Ask your AI

Say "Put my site on my own domain" or "I want to send emails from my domain". Your AI gives you a link to the right screen and tells you what to do there.

Your site: you add the domain yourself in Settings, Your websites, under Your own domain: type it and tap Add the domain. It asks you to confirm it's you first. Then it shows the exact lines to copy to where your domain is managed: one proves the domain is yours, one points www at your site. A bare domain like yourname.com forwards to www. Tap Check when you've added them.

Your emails: your AI asks your yes on a card called Send emails from your domain. After your yes you get about five lines to copy to your domain. They point at us, so you never need to change them again.

What you'll see

Your websites shows each domain as live, waiting for DNS, prove it is yours or needs a look. The lines usually work within minutes, at most a day. Settings, Domains and email shows your domains and whether email is ready.

Every day we check each domain. If something changed, like a line removed or a certificate about to run out, you get a task the same day with the exact next step.

Limits

  • Your own domain for your site comes with a paid plan. During the free trial the site keeps its free address.
  • The site must be live first.
  • One sending domain for your emails. Once it is proven, your AI can't swap it.
  • Email from your domain turns ready by itself once the lines are found, usually within an hour. If a check fails later, sending from it pauses and we tell you.
  • Adding or removing a domain asks for the code from your authenticator app first.
