The media library
The media library holds your films, slides and pictures. Posts, your website and your courses use them from there.
What goes in
- Films, carousels, slides, pictures and thumbnails.
- Films always go here, never inside a website. Your site and your courses play them from the library.
- Each piece keeps its versions, so you can review one before it is used.
Adding a file
Your AI adds a file with publish_asset.
- Online, it always gives department, task and run_id.
- It gives exactly one of:
file,from_url,uploadorfrom_submission. uploadneeds arequestId(6 to 120 characters) and, for anything but a film, the file's sha256.- No zip files. A carousel goes up slide by slide, and then is grouped as one carousel.
When the upload address can't be reached
Some AI apps work inside a closed space that can't reach our upload address. Claude on the web is one. Then the upload can't finish. If the file is already online, your AI gives its public https link with from_url instead (up to 200 MB).
Where to upload
On your phone: open your office, tap Media, then Upload from your phone. Pick photos, videos or sounds from your camera roll. On a computer: Media, then Upload films from your laptop. A big file carries on where it stopped if the connection drops. Each file lands in your media library as a draft. When someone asks where to upload, your AI says exactly this.
Photos go up the same way. The laptop button opens an upload page for one day: drop your files on it, or pick them, and press Send. Then tell your AI which photos to use on your site.
